The Sierra Foundation’s 7th Annual Dialogue & Friendship Dinner hosted distinguished guests representing various religious and cultural establishments and community members interested in dialogue. In addition to the presentations by guest speakers, the round table discussions provided a unique opportunity to share our experiences and learn from each other. The dinner was attended by more than 100 guests. Governor Jim Gibbons, Senator Harry Reid and Congressman Dean Heller

have sent aCertificate of Recognition for Sierra Foundation. The night of tolerance began with a welcome session, Video Presentation about Sierra Foundation.

Speaker of the evening, Rt. Rev. Alexei Smith, Ecumenical and Interreligious Officer , Archdiocese of Los Angeles , shared his thoughts with the invitees. Then, Sierra Foundation second Community Service award given to Washoe County Asst. Sheriff Marshal Emerson on behalf of Sheriff Mike Haley.

The dinner was followed by Children Whirling Dervishes Performance. The night was concluded by the closing remarks of City of Sparks Mayor Geno Martini, Pat Miller, Bishop Gene Savoy and City Attorney John Kadlic.
