President of Turkic American Alliance Dr. Faruk Taban visited President of American-Turkish Council (ATC) James H Holmes to discuss each other’s work. After warmly welcoming, Mr. Holmes told to Dr. Taban about his organization’s Annual Conference which will be held on October 30th – November 2nd of this year. In return, Dr. Taban also mentioned about TAA’s 2011 Gala/Convention which will be on November 30th, 2011. Both Presidents wanted to intertwine both organizations together to better help
US-Turkey relations.President Holmes expressed their gratitude for the work TAA has been organizing and urged them to proceed with similar events. He explained details about their events and exchanged ideas with Dr. Taban. Along with a productive discussion about each organizations individual events throughout the year, President Taban mentioned also activities of TAA’s component organizations in local. Before leaving the office Dr. Taban presented the host with a small gift to show his appreciation for welcoming him to the ATC office.
