On Tuesday, August 26th, TAA Board Members held meetings throughout Sacramento, California. The Board Members meet with Deputy Secretary of State, Debbie O’Donoghue and Assistant Deputy Secretary of State Carrie J. Martin from the offices of the Secretary of State Debra Bowen, Chief of Policy, Daniel Suvor, from the office of Attorney General Kamala Harris, Assembly Majority Leader V. Manuel Perez and Legislative Director, Daniel S. Cucchi from the office of the California Senate Majority Leader.
Afterwards, TAA traveled to Carson City, Nevada, where it had appointments with Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, Carson City Mayor Robert Crowell and the Assembly Majority Leader of Nevada William C. Horne. During the meetings, TAA Board Members discussed TAA activities, trips to Turkey and the upcoming US-Kyrgyz Convention which will be held on September 25th, 2014.
