During late April to early May, two Secretaries of State, one state Senator and one state Delegate attended an intercultural study trip to Turkey.
The trip included visits to Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara and meetings with businesspersons, journalists, charity and humanitarian aid organizations, a U.S. Embassy representative, a Member of Turkish Parliament, university rectors and representatives of civil society organizations. The delegation also enjoyed family dinners with local Turkish families.
Overall, the trip was a great success!
