On Wednesday, July 2nd, the Turkic American Alliance hosted a Ramadan Dinner for Sister Cities International (SCI). In attendance were the CEO and President of SCI Mary Kane, SCI staff and members of SCI’s Board of Directors. Conversation ranged from Sister Cities International’s upcoming annual conference in San Jose, California, to the 2nd Annual Kyrgyz-American Convention in Bishkek this September co-organized by the Turkic American Alliance, and to initiatives and projects by TAA and SCI, respectively.
Dr. Taban, the President of TAA, looks forward to speaking before the Vulnerable Populations in the Middle East panel at SCI’s 58th Annual Conference from July 31st to August 2nd.
