December 15, 2015, Seattle, WA. Pacifica Institute organized a panel discussion that brought together muslim leaders to discuss the ways of countering extremism in our communities and provide pushback to narratives about the Muslim Americans and the shootings in San Bernardino, CA a few weeks earlier. The distinguished speakers included Jawad Khaki, Imam and President Emeritus of the IMAN Center of Kirkland and Jihad Turk, President of Bayan Claremont Islamic Graduate School.
