Pacifica Institute Hosts Friendship Dinner in Hawai’i

On March 20th, the 4th Annual Dialogue and Friendship Dinner, sponsored by the Pacifica Institute of Honolulu, Hawai’i, was held in the capital of Honolulu County. Professor Dr. Philip Clayton, Ingraham Professor of Theology at the Claremont School of Theology, gave the keynote speech on the topic “Respect for the Sacred in the Context of American Religious Freedom and Freedom of Speech.” Dr. Clayton is a prominent advocate for interreligious dialogue, and the internationalization of the science-religion dialogue.

The Pacifica Institute of Honolulu, Hawai’i, is a member organization of the West America Turkic Council, a regional federation organized under the Turkic American Alliance. Pacifica Institute aims to encourage dialogue between cultural, spiritual, ethical and belief traditions through lectures, discussions, festivals, dinners and trips.
