US Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS) said “we share common values and goals. We have invested number one in global and regional security. We have realized importance of economic and democratic reforms. We are united by the vision free, safe and prosperous world.
US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Robert Blake stated “I am very excited to see so many countries like Turkey, who has built economic growth, opportunities and hope for their people. Through these peaceful activities, such as this Turkic American Convention, the region can become part of global success story.”
Deputy Chairman of AK Party, Ekrem Erdem said “I support the Turkic American Alliance that was founded three years ago, and hosting this convention.”
Deputy Chairman of Republican Party, Gokhan Gunaydin mentioned “In this globalized World, Turkey plays a great role of leadership in the region. Even though, she grew economically very well, she still has a long path to develop in the areas of democracy and freedom.”
Member of Azerbaijani Parliament, Sevinj Fataliyeva underlined that locating at the crossroad of east and west Azerbaijan has always been performing as a coalition of interests. The history itself determines for Azerbaijan the role of being bridge for different civilizations.”
Another Member of Azerbaijani Parliament, Asim Mollazade talked about the importance of what the Mustafa Kemal Ataturk done not only for Turkey but also Azerbaijan and other countries in Central Asia. According to Mollazade, ideals of Ataturk are the same values within the United States.
