March 16, 2016, Washington, D.C. – After the successful completion of the Welcome Reception at the US Senate last night and Business Breakfast Meeting at the Turkic American Alliance’s Headquarters, guests of the Turkic American Convention & Business Summit gathered at the Westin Tysons Corner Hotel for the International Networking Luncheon.
The networking luncheon was organized by the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce as a part of the Business Summit session. The speakers of the event included, William Fanjoy, Director of the US Export Assistance Centers, Chairman Sharon Bulova, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, Dr. Gerald L. Gordon, President and CEO of the Fairfax County EDA, Bob McCollar, Intl. Business Development Manager at the Loudoun County DED, Varol Ablak, CEO of the Vocelli Pizza & Rock n Joe, and Ken Ulsaker, Vice President & Certified Real Estate Management Broker (CRB) at the Long & Foster Companies.
The luncheon was a wonderful chance to join and expand business network, to engage with business representatives from Construction, Agriculture, Retail and Food industries worldwide. It is also a unique opportunity for business owners to voice their opinion, find investors to start off business or find new clients for their active business projects. According to the organizers, the program provided a neutral, open platform through which individuals could make connections, gain insights necessary to become successful in business globally.
Later, participants attended tours of the U.S. Capitol, meetings with government leaders and members of U.S. Congress and a Gala dinner in the evening at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel.
