On January 27th, the delegation visited the headquarters of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and met with its distinguished Vice President, Mr. Halik Mammadov.
The delegation also visited the distinguished Professor Dr. Ziyad Samedzade. Prof. Dr. Samedzade is Azerbaijan’s eminent figure in economic policymaking and currently serves as Chairman of the Committee for Economic Policy of Milli Majlis (National Assembly) of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Together they discussed Prof. Dr. Samedzade’s seminal Encyclopedia on Economy and an invitation to the 4th Annual Turkic American Convention in April in Washington, D.C.
