Delegation Meets with Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh

The delegation’s trip to Central Asia began in the Kyrgyz Republic. On January 19^th, the delegation visited the Jogorku Kenesh (Supreme Council), the unicameral Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic. There, the delegation met with the Honorable Parliament Speaker Asylbek Jeenbekov, who has previously visited the Turkic American Alliance in Washington, D.C. The delegation received a very warm welcome from the Honorable Speaker, from Chairman Kanybek Imanaliev and from other distinguished members of the Jogorku Kenesh. For the 2^nd Annual U.S.-Kyrgyz Convention, Speaker Jeenbekov extended his hospitality and generosity by offering to host a delegation from the Turkic American Alliance in the Fall of 2014.
