January 12, 2016, Istanbul, Turkey. The Turkic American Alliance strongly condemns the terrorist attacks in Istanbul, Turkey and offers its deepest condolences to the families, relatives, friends who lost their loved ones. The suicide bombing, which killed 10 tourists, many of whom were German — and also injured a few others in the Sultanhamet district, close to major tourist attractions such as Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.
