On January 7, 2015 TAA held a reception at to welcome the 114th Congress at our TAA headquarters. Over 30 congressional staff were in attendance, including Mahmut Yeter, Executive Director of Mid Atlantic Federation of Turkic American Associations (MAFTAA); Suleyman Turhanogullari, President of Turkic American Federation of Midwest (TAFM); Bilal Eksili, President of Turquoise Council of Americans and Eurasians (TCAE) and Cemil Teber, President of Turkic American Federation of Southeast (TAFS). Also present were representatives from TAA’s member organizations across the United States.
Dr. Taban, President of Turkic American Alliance gave a brief overview of TAA’s upcoming activities of the year, including a presentation on the current state of media in Turkey.
