A distinguished delegation from the United States toured Central Asia this month. The delegation consisted of Dr. Faruk Taban, President of the Turkic American Alliance, Celil Yaka, President of the newly established Turkic American Chamber of Commerce (TACC), Süleyman Turhan, President of the Turkic American Federation of Midwest (TAFM), and Cemil Teber, President of the Turkic American Federation of Southeast (TAFS).
The delegation made scheduled stops in Bishkek, Almaty, Dushanbe and Baku, meeting with distinguished Members of Parliament and governing officials, signing four memorandums of understanding, and visiting education, health, business and other sectors of the respective republics.
The Turkic American Alliance extends its sincerest gratitude to its generous hosts whose hospitality was unmatched. TAA looks forward to working with them in the future and seeing them in April at the 4th Annual Turkic American Convention in Washington, D.C.
