Haluk Ipek, Secretary General of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) of Turkey, who was visiting Washington, DC on an official trip from Ankara, visited the headquarters of Turkic American Alliance on Friday, April 27.
Mr. Ipek with the Commission on Rules of Procedure from the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was on the official visit in Washington, DC to research and study Parliamentarian procedures and applications.
Later on Secretary General had a chance to visit the office of the Turkic American Alliance (TAA) where he had a friendly discussion with members of TAA. In particular he had a briefing on activities and projects, as well as a discussion on some prospective projects of mutual interest.
At the end of this informal meeting, Mr. Ipek expressed his sincere gratitude for honoring him as guest at the TAA and wished luck in strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two great nations of Turkey and the United States.
