Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Asilbek Jeenbekov along with his delegation have visited TAA. Members of the Kyrgyz Parliament: Mr. Almazbek Baatyrbekov -Chairman of the International relations Committee, Mr. Tokon Mamytov, Chairman of the Committee for Defense and Security, Mr. Zairbek Zhooshbekov,-Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Budget and Finance, Mr. Abdyrakhman Mamataliev, Ms. Dinara Isaeva, Mr. Akylbek Eshimov, Mr. Chingiz Aidarbekov, Head of International Relations Department, Mr. Almazbek Idirisov, Deputy Head of International Relations Department; Ms. Tolgonay Stamalieva, Head of the Speaker’s press service, and H.E. Muktar Djumaliev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the US and Canada as well as Mr. Erines Otorbaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic were in the delegation.
H.E. Asilbek Jeenbekov stated his appreciation to Turkic American Alliance and he was impressed by the activities of the organization. He said that ” from my deepest heart, I wish the best to the TAA, since we share same history, language, culture and religion; and thus, we have to cooperate and work together”. H.E. Jeenbekov expressed his appreciation to TAA’s President Faruk Taban and his staff for their work to preserve the Turkic culture in the United States.
Dr. Faruk Taban gave a brief presentation about the TAA and its activities. He has also introduced to the delegation activities of the TAA Member organizations. Dr. Fevzi Bilgin of the Rethink Institute along with his chief staff Vladimir Fedorenko introduced their organization and their publications that have been conducted so far.
The delegation enjoyed the delicious Turkic foods as well as drinking green tea as they are in Kyrgyzstan. Several cameramen and correspondents of Kyrgyz National Broadcasting Channel have also come to broadcast the visit.
