Kadir Topbas, Mayor of Istanbul City visited Turkic American Alliance (TAA) while he was attending to the Annual Conference of the U.S Mayor’s Association in the United States. Mr. Topbas congratulated Dr. Faruk Taban, President of Turkic American Alliance due to organization’s activities. Mr. Topbas expressed those activities need to be more improved by emphasizing on the importance of such work for the future of Turkey in the United States.
Dr. Faruk Taban introduced events of Turkic American Alliance (TAA) to Mr. Topbas and they talked about their opinion on the organization’s work.
Mr. Topbas met also with young interns who are conducting their internship at the US Congress in Washington D.C., respectively to be informed about their work experience. Mr. Topbas congratulated Dr. Taban and members of the Alliance for their achievements and stated his readiness to help to improve the events at Turkic American Alliance.
Mr. Topbas was taken photographs with members at the new TAA headquarters in Washington D.C. that was opened for the service in last month, and then he left the organization for his other visits.
