Today our headquarters was honored by a special visit from the mother of Mikheil Saakasvhili, President of Georgia, as well as the Founder and Head Trustee of the University of Georgia in Tbilisi, Dr. Giuli Alasania. As she was attending as a keynote speaker to the conference entitled Turkic Nations, and their Global perspective. Turkic minorities in the US at the George Mason University, Dr. Faruk Taban President of the Turkic American Alliance invited her to our headquarters.
Dr. Taban himself was also a speaker at the Roundtable session of the conference.
Dr. Giuli Alasania discussed many concerning issues on bettering relationships among Turkic countries and Georgia with our guests. After a short discussion, our guests and Dr. Taban exchanged small gifts as a display of their respect to each other. Pictures were taken as the two parties offered their gifts. All guests and Dr. Giuli Alasania saw the beautiful rooftop of the Turkic American Alliance.
