2013 Turkic American Convention hosted ministers and politicians from Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and ambassadors of the countries that have representation in the TAA. The event, which will host panel discussions with participants from seven countries, is sponsored by Ziraatbank, Halkbank, SUMMA, Today’s Zaman, Turkish Airlines (THY) and the Turkish Review.
Talking about success of the TAA’s previous two conventions and the interest they sparked, Taban says this year there are indicators that attendance will be even higher. He emphasized that TAA has invited the representatives of both the governing and opposition parties in Turkey to reflect the diversity of the country to the US. Underlining that the organization received very positive feedbacks over previous events and conventions, Taban said that the organization set the bar high and that this year’s convention will be more successful than previous ones.
This year, Turkic American Convention received tremendous attention at the press. A total of 32 TAC news articles were published including Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan Press.
