On Friday, February 7th, TAA representatives were invited to attend Ethnic Day at the White House, a day-long event that included a tour of the White House and briefings by high-level officials in the Obama Administration. These distinguished officials included White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications and Speechwriting Benjamin Rhodes, in addition to other senior National Security Council Staff, staff from the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs, and representatives from the National Economic Council.

The First Annual U.S.-Kazakhstan Convention was a great success!
The Convention took place on Wednesday, December 11th at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., and featured a Breakfast and Opening Ceremony and two Panel Sessions. The theme of the Convention was “Successful Strategic Partnership” between the United States and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
